ZIGGY

ZIGGY is a gorgeous zebra dun, a sweet natured senior guy with a few limitations but a big heart. His ideal home is as a companion for another horse, and does great with children learning to be around horses. He can be ridden but prefers to be hand led or following, given his age this should not be his primary function.

He is vision and hearing impaired so needs a home where at least 1 horse will be with him at all times. He is a cribber but is missing nearly all his teeth so he doesn’t inflict any damage to infrastructure or himself.

Because of his limited chewing capabilities he needs to be fed the majority of his calories via soaked grain and alfalfa pellets. Adopters should be prepared for this additional expense.

Ziggy stands calmly to be brushed and tacked up, can be ridden with a bit or bitless, and prefers to be hand led due to his limited vision. He will walk and trot in hand or following.

Ziggy is good for the vet and farrier and leads and loads up easily. He is up to date on all vaccines, dental work, farrier and coggins.
