Need our help finding a horse?
We locate, visit, ride, and evaluate horses for our students and outside clients for a small fee. If you need help finding a horse to meet your needs please use the contact form get started. We can coordinate PPEs and shipping as well if desired.
Our starting fee for these services is $300.
The horses listed below are currently for sale or adoption. Anything listed under $1000 will require an Adoption Application and Care Contract. Our horses are sold with a buyback contract so that should financial or other distress befall you, they are always welcome back here at RH Farm. Rescues are sold with a “no auction” clause to prevent them from re-entering the auction/slaughter pipeline.

ALL horses are up-to-date on their Coggins, vaccines, dental and farrier work.
How do you decide adoption fees?
Adoption fees vary based on age, training and skill level, experience and health condition.
We strive to price our rescues below market value, but we do need to account for care and maintenance, health and training costs. We are not flush with donations at this time so while our horses are always priced well for what they are, they may still be out of your price range.
Some Guidelines We Use:
- Horses over the age of 23 will be $1000 or less
- Companion horses will be $500 or less
- Horses needing a professional trainer home will be $1000 or less
To-date, 90% of the horses that have come through our facility have been adopted/sold for $3000 or less. We never make a profit off horse adoption fees as the care, training, and vet costs are always more than the adoption fee.
